Well I did it. I made the plunge and got my ticket, seven days of purifying and cleansing in the Caribbean Ocean. Honestly, I wanted to be a bit more adventurous and head to an Ashram in India but I am not sure I have built up enough courage as a solo traveler to go that far! Normally, I prefer to travel on my own without having to conform to a set schedule. My beach bum tendencies usually land me in cabanas by the beach with nothing but indulgence in pure laziness. Nevertheless, who could resist Kemetic Yoga classes, Belly dance, and hot water springs with some conscious like-minded brothas and sistren! Not to mention the former owner of one of my favorite raw restaurants in Brooklyn, Aris from Sunfire, will be offering raw food prep classes and the nightly menu!
